Set up YouTube alerts with Nekotina

YouTube alerts post a Discord message whenever a YouTube channel uploads a new video. Ideal for communities following content creators.

Prerequisites

1. Access to the dashboard.
2. Discord channel for alerts (#youtube, #videos, etc.).
3. Nekotina needs Manage Webhooks in that channel.

Step 1 — Create the alert

1. Go to Social Alerts → YouTube.
2. Click Add new alert.
3. Search for the YouTube channel.
4. Select the destination Discord channel.
5. Write the message with {{channel}}:

📺 New video from {{channel}}! Don't miss it.

6. Customize notification name and avatar if desired.
7. Save changes.

Step 2 — Manage alerts

Edit or remove alerts from the list. You can follow multiple YouTube channels (within your plan limit).

• Separate YouTube and Twitch alerts into different channels or use message prefixes.
