Set up level notifications with Nekotina

Nekotina includes a profile level system based on member activity. When someone levels up, you can post an automatic announcement in the channel you choose.

Prerequisites

1. Access to the dashboard.
2. A channel for level announcements, e.g. #levels or #general.

Step 1 — Enable notifications

1. Go to Announcements → Profile Levels.
2. Select the channel where level-up notices will be posted.
3. Click Save changes.

How members gain levels

Members earn experience (XP) by participating in the server — sending messages and staying active. Nekotina calculates levels automatically; you don't need to configure formulas in the dashboard for basic notifications.

Combine with other modules

• Use a visible channel that won't be too noisy (avoid #important-announcements on very active servers).
• You can complement with server actions to grant roles at certain levels (advanced setup beyond this guide).
